A pioneer’s spirit, a healer’s touch
After building her own Greenville practice from the ground floor, Dr. McAbee went on to open Edisto Island’s first-ever dental practice. After nearly 20 years there, she closed it and donated all her equipment to a local Episcopal church’s free dental clinic — access has always been at the heart of her work.

Outside the office, Dr. McAbee — a lifelong Gamecocks fan — enjoys gardening, knitting, and visiting the nearby beaches with her family.
Her entrepreneurial spirit once led her to take out a then-unheard-of Yellow Pages ad to build her first practice. Today she brings that same drive to Heritage Dental: “I’m excited to help Heritage create strong connections within this community.”
